[Movies] Machete to Start Filming in June

MACHETE!
While everyone was talking about the news that director Robert Rodriguez would be taking over the Predator franchise, some took note that he mentioned Machete would also be in the works.
According to Variety, June looks to be the start date for Machete, which was one of the several "faux trailers" in the Grindhouse film.
Robert Rodriguez will direct and Danny Trejo will star as the Mexican ex-Federale with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer, who is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator.

I wonder if this is the film they make the connection of Machete to the 'Machete' in the Spy Kids movies. I'd be interested to see how he made the transition from killer-for-hire to gadget builder for children working in espionage....

Please make this movie rated X, or NC-17 or whatever the hell its called, its going to be a B movie, might as well make it the ultimate B movie!

How sad is it that a movie based off a fake trailer in a send up of B-movies is going to be more original and likely better than 95% of the re-imagined crap in theatres?
